I will be watching many of the World Cup games - a benefit from working at home. If people are gathering for the games in town, please keep me in mind as I certainly would be happy to gather for the USA games among others. Yesterday for the Brazil opener we had a large group at Fado in center city. With the somewhat controversy of Klinsmann leaving off Landon Donovan off the roster, I decided to read up about our coach. Good stats as a player and he was even leaning towards youth versus going with the 'stars' even iwhen coaching Germany's national team 10 years ago. The Wikipedia write up is here.

The team has ramped up its NBA Draft celebration this year as the team has two picks in the top 10 for the first time since 1984. Each party location will receive a Sixers Draft Kit filled with T-shirts, hats, and game tickets for handing out to fans.
