Last email was 4/15.....Sorry to those that actually enjoy these. Life has been busy....jumped out to Colorado for a couple of days to get my last days of spring skiing (note: Snowbird got a foot of new snow this week), then spent some time in New Orleans for Jazzfest. By the time I recovered from the trips, and kept up with work, the weeks just go by. BTW, I am planning to run a trip to New Orleans next year for Jazzfest so if you wanted to go, start thinking about it now - you have a year notice.
One issue I have with Philly is the trash - we are a dirty city. The more you travel, the more it confirms that people do not take trash seriously here. The neghborhoods are messiest the day after trash day. Ever see the trash people continually miss the trash truck and leave the trash on the street with no care in the world? It was actually amazing to see the speed of a trash truck in New Orleans at 4AM picking up trash. They clearly get paid for completing the route and not hourly as they moved with such speed. Anyway....This article from City Paper on trash I found timely.
Coolest video I have seen in recent weeks was the video of the Mummers in 1927 and 1931. Looks like 2014, no?
Phillies....told you they could not pitch and their hitting is suspect. After the last week, hard to argue the facts despite having some of the highest paid athletes in the country. Would it not be great if we could have three $8 million dollar players to replace one Ryan Howard? We will in a couple of years....
Despite my travels and fun activities, I am putting in my 50+ hours a week - working on my own real estate projects as well as working as a Realtor with buyers and sellers. My travels and activities cost $$$ and there is no trust fund so I must be doing something well to earn. I come with references...and would be honored to work with you, your friends and family. - Mark
