It has been a busy couple of weeks. I did make it up to Vermont for a couple of days at Killington. The storm delivered with nealry two feet of snow. Had some car issues on the way up - ended up getting towed off of the NY Thruway and renting a car to complete the trip. The crazy part is that my buddy's BMW had only 50,000 miles on it when it broke down. The computer had an issue and effectively shut down the car. Technology is wonderful, most of the time. Also was able to get two Allman Brothers Band shows at the Beacon Theatre this week. After 45 years, they still put on a very good show with some great visuals/screens.
Although spring has arrived ski season is not over yet. There seems to be another storm coming possibly next week. If it does arrive, I am planning to head back north. If interersted in going, please let me know. Also, looking at one or two more trips before ski season ends out west (UT, CO, WA). If anyone can jump on a plane in April, let me know.
And speaking of flights, I just discovered Wilmington Airport. Frontier Airlines flies from there to these cities (Atlanta, Chicago-Midway, Denver, Detroit, Fort Myers, Orlando, and Tampa). From my searches, I saw a real price redcution compared to some PHL flights and Wilmington offers FREE parking. http://www.flywilmilg.com.
Also discovered this past weekend that Philadelphia has the second oldest parade in the country - our St. Patrick's Day Parade. So i ventured to it. Was not very exciting - mostly elementary school kids doing Gaelic dancing.
As always, if you are thinking of buying or selling a home in Philadelphia or simply would like to know what homes have sold for your neighborhood, I am very happy to help. Been fully focused and licensed on real estate since 2005 so I like to think I could be a good resoource for you. - Mark

7) Judges Needed for Temple's BYOBB
Temple University's Be Your Own Boss Bowl® is seeking preliminary judges to review mini
business plans and help determine which make the finals. The BYOBB is one of the most comprehensive and richest business plan competitions in the USA. Participants include students, alumni, faculty and staff of Temple University.
Business plans are just 15 pages in length and preliminary judges have 10 days, including two full weekends, to review three plans and return scores. Time commitment is about 60 - 90 minutes per plan. Plans will be distributed on Thursday, March 27. Completed scoring sheets are due back by email Monday, April 7 by 8 AM.
Plans include lifestyle businesses, highly scalable ventures, social impact firms and more. Preliminary judges should have about 15 years professional workplace experience and familiarity with business planning. EFGP has generously supported the BYOBB in past years with dozens of its members participating.
Preliminary judges are invited to the BYOBB ® Finalist Presentations and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 24 and will be acknowledged in all event materials. Organizations contributing judges will be listed as a supporting organization in our promotional and event materials.
Please help an aspiring Temple entrepreneur and judge plans this year for the 2014 Be Your Own Boss Bowl®. Thank you for your consideration!
