Title: 26 Items (2-28-14) sponsored by the 17th Annual Philly Fur Ball Charity Event
Body:

First off, if it does snow on Monday, does anyone want to head north and get some skiing in?  Thinking of heading to NY or VT depending on where the snow falls.  Last time I threw out a similar plan, a group of us headed to Windham, NY where we ended up with two feet of snow and had some very fun turns.

March is here and the calendar seems to be picking up quite a bit.

As always, please talk to me if you are thinking of buying or selling a home.  I have been licensed since 2005 using my real estate license to help both buyers and sellers of their primary homes but also specialize in investment real estate (where I spend a large % of my time). - Mark

1) Philadelphia neighborhood map shows development projects
Code for Philly, a community of web developers, has a new map showing which Philadelphia neighborhoods have seen an increase and decrease in new projects between 2007 and 2013. It's an interesting visual of sections of the city experiencing change, but the map offers some results that might seem unexpected. Click here for more.

  • The Philadelphia Museum of Art presents Treasures from Korea, an unprecedented exhibition of rare and spectacular objects, many that have never before been seen outside of Korea and are only available due to a unique multi-institutional collaboration between the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the National Museum of Korea, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.

  • With Philadelphia being one of only three United States stops, you can be the first to experience artistic treasures from the Joseon dynasty — a line of twenty-seven monarchs that ruled the Korean peninsula for more than five hundred years and left a momentous legacy for modern Korea.

In many ways, the scope of Treasures from Korea and the rarity of the artworks included is a once in a lifetime experience. The spectacular masterpieces produce not only a fine arts exhibition, but tell the story of a culture that continues to manifest itself today.
