For thoese looking for something a big party atmosphere on Tday Eve, my buddy Dennis is hosting a party at Xfinity. For those looking for something to do on Friday after Thanskgiving, there is an annual 'Black Out Friday' gathering that afternoon at McGillans (2nd floor). Email me if interested in some more details.
For those, like me, that dislike bathroom attendants, this trend might make you happy.
For those that think pot should be legal, here is some good news from the states of Maine and Michigan. And I am not sure why our PA state legislators can not approve medical marijuana for those that are sick and could use some additional help - disappoints me.
I received my cancellation from my insurance company (Aetna since 2005) this week as it is not a compliant plan with the Affordable Care Act. Trying to figure out my options for new insurance for 2014 but I can not get on to the healthcare website to see what options I have through their marketplace. :(
For those with motorcycles or scooters in Philly, this is an interesting storyline developing.
Philly Sports: Flyers are playing much better (almost .500) and the Phillies are not getting any younger (Carlos Ruiz signing analysis). The Eagles give away free Dunkin Donuts coffee after a win if you are signed up. Remember the Eagles radio campaign that told you to turn down your TV and listen on the radio while in your living room? Well it does not work at the actual game itself - the Eagles radio is on a 15-20 second delay. It was finally nice to see an Eagles victory......And this happened pregame with McCoy which I thought was great.
For those NYC Village music fans, here is some venue news: Sullivan Hall (ex Lion's Den) is closing this spring.
For those thinking (me) our convention center needs an attitude adjustment for the betterment of Philadelphia, they are getting a new convention center boss - Will it help?
And since I always try to finish on some real estate topic....Did youyou know that Stone Harbor, NJ is the 6th most expensive housing market in the USA? As always, happy to talk to you about your housing needs, whether buying or selling.....or just curious if a refinance and need a free housing valuation analysis. - Mark
