Sorry I missed last week. - went to see Phish in Reading on Tuesday (10/29) and then AC for the three night Phish Halloween run (10/31-11/2)(only 42 arrests). For fans of the Godfather, Phish did a spoof with Abe Vigoda Halloween night - here is the video along wtih the members of Phish. Next Phish shows are their new years eve run at MSG/NYC. If anyone has any housing options for me that week in NYC, please let me know - also looking for some tickets still for a couple of shows if you hear of anything.
Some other noteworthy music news.....I attended the Bon Jovi show Tuesday night (minus Richie Sambora). This Sunday is both Elvis Costello at the Merriam and Justin Timberlake at the Wells Fargo Center.
I wanted to highlight an event I attended thanks to the good folks at Growlers Bar - Philly Mag's Whiskey Fest. Tickets are not cheap but if you like your whiskey, tequilla, and/or vodka, this is a great event for you. I was testing $100+ bottles of tequilla. very nice.
LAST CALL for anyone who is looking to buy something in the Art Museum area. I am working with a seller who has a two story house that once updated, for $300,000 all in (would appraise for near $350,000 when completed) could be three good size bedrooms, along with 3.5 bathrooms, and a roof deck. All with the ability to customize paint colors, tile, kitchen cabinets, vanities, etc.... Any one????
Start thinking ski season....Killington is already open.
Chase Utley's condo is for sale.
And lastly....did you notice how well these three past Philly outfielders did this past year? - Mark
