Title: 26 Items (9-17-13)
Body:

Let's start with the Eagles.  Looks like an 8-8 season is in our 2013 future.  The games are fun again though, right?  We did not solve our issues with our secondary or linebackers yet, and our pass rush yesterday with/without the blitz could not get any pressure on the QB, but our offense seems to be on a good path - though I wonder by the time we have a playoff defense will the league figure out how to stop our offense.  It is great to see DeSean Jackson returning punts again. And lastly, if RG3 was not so rusty in the opening game, would we not be 0-2?

Secondly, I do not know if this is true but if so, it is another sad day to be an American (not as sad as another awful gun incident).  The US goverrnment has for how many years told the American people there is no just reasoning for medical marijuana to help some sick people but the U.S.Health and Human Services patented medical marijuana in 2001 which outlines how it is helpful.  I first read about it in the NY Post and googled the patent number and it seems to verify it.   How do some of our politicians live with themselves and how do we as Americans keep voting them in?

Fall means beer festivals.  Oktoberfest at Xfinity is coming up, Sippin By the River is this Saturday, and here is one in November that is free if you volunteer.

Fall means ski season is coming up....I have been looking at this $709 Vail ski pass for years and thinking maybe this is the year I finally buy it.  Anyone have days they can spend in Colorado with me this winter?

I have some friends looking to get in to a Pocono ski house - anyone know of a house that could use a few people?

Saw this article a few weeks back about our venture capital dollars in the region going to companies outside of Philadelphia.  Thought it was sharing since until it is fixed, the city will always be held back by our elected policy makers.

I think our state liquor store system is a big loser but for those nearby these stores, you are receiving a bonus.

As always, please consider talking to me about your real estate needs if buying or selling a home....or are just curious to what has sold in your neighborhood....happy to be of assistance.  - Mark
