This mornings email is coming to you from Dallas, TX, where it is colder than Philadelphia. Off this afternoon for a night in Austin for a bachelor party - for those that remember my buddy Oleg, he is getting married next weekend.. Then off tomorrow morning to New Orleans for Jazzfest. If in New Orleans this weekend, let me know.
My video of the week comes from last week's 4/20 smoke out. Philly's law enforcement in action.
My second video of the week is Brian Williams from NNC in Camden. My parents grew up in Camden and went to Camden High. Do not think it was like this when they were there...
I have been excited by the idea of the new Mormon temple being built in Philly. I thought it was going to be more extravagent but I think the building will fit nicely wiht the architecture around it. Photo here.
My Philly sucks highlight of the week is this shooting in center city. Maybe we need to borrow NYC gun laws...would it make a difference?
Did you know the Real World is coming to Philly again? The onsite auditions already happened but not too late to submit online.
Lastly, I have a new listing coming up shortly at 4th and Brown in Northern Liberties. Nice house that could use a little TLC. If you want more information before it officially comes on the market, let me know. Other real estate news for me is I bought my first five unit building near the Betsy Ross Bridge in the Bridesburg neighborhood. Always looking for investors for the next purchase. And as always, never to busy to assist you in buying or selling property. And free sales valuations if you are curious what your home is worth - or what your neighbors just sold their house for. - Mark
