Title: 24 Items (12-24-11) sponsored by 13th Annual 'To Life Party' - Christmas Eve in Philly
Body:

Happy holidays to everyone.

Want to thank those who helped me in my help requests the past two weeks for Quickbooks and some SSN research.  A new one this week:   I am looking for a partner/investor for a new construction opportunity in the Art Museum area.  Purchase the lot for $100,000 and build for $200,000.  Should sell for around $375,000.   Should put out a fair return.  Email me for details if you have some cash to play with it.  Here are some photos of my most recent purchase this week in Port Richmond (do not know how to allow you to see them without signign in, sorry).  Bought for $40,000 and will put in $40 -50,000.  Should sell for around $115,000 which would mean a $15,000 to $20,000 profit after expenses.  Always looking for money partners in deals like this if smaller is more your comfort zone.

Did you know that Philly really is a mecca for colleg hoops?  Most wins top 10 list and we have two programs.  Check out the list here.

A few weeks ago I commented how bad the margarita at El Vez was....the ones I had at Mixto this week were very good.

This week I was out and had a situation with some friends that led to this question: What is sexier...a girl in hot shoes who has to cab it or a girl who can walk 5 blocks at 10pm?

I had 15 responses on FB and looking forward to hearing your thoughts if you are inclined to share.

Some people say Councilman Bill Green will be our next Mayor after Nutter.  Here is a quick intro on the man and his views about Business Tax Reform if interested.

And staying on the political front, I must ask why do we provide funding to countries that we know teach their children hatred of the west?  And locally, I am hoping competition does come to our beer distributors as a new Harrisburg bill would allow.

Regarding sports....it is my luck that the Flyers game I attend is a 6-0 blow out (Boston, last Saturday).  And let's hope our 4PM Eagles game means something after the Giants/Jets 1PM game.

Lastly, a bunch of events tonight and tomorrow night (details below) for those interested. - Mark
