Did not include any events for Thanksgiving eve - just too many out there

Eagles....I am 0-3 at home games this year.....Did you know that we recorded our first sack by a linebacker in the 2nd half of the Zona game?  No wonder are are 3-6.  And one does have to wonder why we have two of the games best cornerbacks and neither is allowed to play man to man against Fitzgerald.

For those looking for a crazy exercise night, check out http://goruckchallenge.com.  I was driving home late Saturday night and saw these people carrying a log.  Then they went to jump in the river by the boat houses and carried out another log.  Then carried both through center city.  Honest - one of the logs is in the photo.  Was a group of nearly 30 people.  Was in insane.

Some Phillies news: Put yourself on the 2012 Season Ticket Waitlist » and  Phillies tickets getting more expensive

And another nice development for Philly:  http://www.aroundphilly.com/blog/2011/10/28/punk-kids-will-finally-get-their-skate-park/

Lastly, for those that had some water damage from Irne (or damage from the earthquake, I thought this was interesting news: How to Write Off a Disaster Loss For Property Damage
Losses from one of the many disasters this year? You may be due some tax relief, even after insurance and other compensation for your losses. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) allows you a tax deduction for casualty losses, including losses due to property damage or destruction.

Chef Marc Vetri has no tricks up his sleeve. He has no day-glo restaurants with cars fashioned into booths or service staff in required shell-toe Adidas, he just makes mind-blowing food. His first restaurant, Vetri, has been called “possibly the best Italian restaurant on the East coast,” by Mario Batali, and Bon Appetit hailed Amis “one of the Top 10 places for pasta in the country.” The South Philly native has a way of making a meal you will remember for years. Now, he’s intent on passing his knowledge on to the kitchen lay people in his new fundamentals cookbook Rustic Italian Food. Tonight, you’ll finally get your chance to ask one of the best chefs in the world any culinary question you might have. Be prepared, and bring a notebook. -Abigail Bruley
