Body:

Missed last week’s edition.  I ended up jumping up to NY for some skiing.  They were in the midst of getting more than 5 feet of snow so I jumped in the car.  Was able to get four days in (3 at Windham, and 1 at Hunter).  Conditions were great.  I am looking for some people that want to the mountains through March and April.  If you have some flexibility and interest, please let me know as I am looking at both trips up north or out west.

Quick reminder that the Red Ball – the Red Cross charity event – is tomorrow night (#1).

I have seen some good music since the last edition (Black Eyed Peas, Muse, John Mayer, and the Pink Floyd Experience).  More good shows coming up.  Pollstar is a great site for checking concert schedules.

A few weeks back, I mentioned what seemed as excess dollars being spent on a new path from Locust to South Street.  One reader told me I needed to get a clue on the topic.  I looked at what was sent to me and I still think the project is costly and not all that necessary but it is more than ‘just a bike path’. You can see the info here. http://completethetrail.org/trail-segments/boardwalk-locust-to-south-street-bridge/.

I also mentioned Rex Ryan as a Flyers fan.  I should have included this photo.

Also last week someone complained about me pitching my real estate services too much.  Since this is my only form of advertising, it is going to continue.  As a reader, you can always skip over the this paragraph, right?  A reminder that Congress extended the Tax Credit for home buyers through April 30th, 2010, but time is running out quickly so it's time to act now. If you've never bought a home before, you may qualify for an $8,000 credit. If you have lived in your current home for at least 5 years and you want to trade up, you could qualify for a $6,500 tax credit.  You have to put the house under contract by April 30th to qualify. - Mark
