Title: 28 Items (8-14-09) sponsored by AMERICAN MALE SALONS
Body:

Let’s start with some shore parties.  Saturday (8/15) is the annual pig roast in Avalon.  30 kegs expected on the bay (421 24th St.) from 1-8.  Next Saturday (8/22) is the 6th annual Bobblespalooza in Avalon.  It is an MS fundraiser and will be hosted by my shore house.  I believe 45 kegs is the expected number.  Details next week.

I am involved in a project with some friends that are light experts.  They are looking for some commission based sales people to help them.  The idea is pretty simple.  Change out the traditional lights we have been using for decades with green friendly lights.  Benefits include not only a tremendous drop in their electric bill (watts used) per month but it is also a much better quality light (more like the sun’s rays).  They have clients like Yuengling.  If interested in getting involved, please email me.

Did anyone go to the Preakness this year?  They changed their partying format for the infield and I am need some information on how it was.  Please share if you can.

Can someone spread some light on this topic for me?  What is the sales tax on beer?  I was out last week and charged 10% by Byblos on two five dollar beers.  My tab was $11, not $10.  Is that the correct sales tax or did they improperly charge me?  I found this article but am not sure of the answer. http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/07341/839943-85.stm

And lastly, a house reminder that the $8000 first time home buyer federal tax credit expires on Nov 30th: http://www.philly.com/philly/business/personal_finance/53145777.html.  According to this article, the philly market is undervalued: http://thephillypretzel.com/2009/08/09/philadelphia-housing-considered-under-valued-1st-time-since-2003/
As always, I ask that you speak to me about your real estate needs. - Mark
