Need some bachelor party advice. Friday night went to AC to scope places for a buddy’s bachelor party. We swung by the Pool at Harrahs, Dusk at Caesars, and Chelsea. We left the Pool early to check out the other places. Anyone know how the scene gets on a Friday night?
I am looking for a cash partner for some rental property investments. Know anyone?
About to book air for the Phillies in Chicago. August 11-13. Anyone have interest in heading out? I like the Pedro signing for $1 million. Do not see that we have much to lose. And the cheapest seat for a game the other night was $21. At least the money is invested back in to the team.

And lastly, I saw new construction with 3 beds and 3 baths with parking in Graduate Hospital for only $275,000. Crazy low. Email me if interested. And for still thinking of taking advantage of the government tax incentive while interest rates are hovering near 5%, remember the program is a direct credit from the government (not a tax deduction) of up to $8,000 and settlement needs to take place before November 30, 2009. BTW, according to the National association of Realtors, the housing inventory peaked in November 2008 at an 11-month supply. At the end of May 2009, it had fallen to a 9.6-month supply. Always happy to help you buy or sell your home.... - Mark

3) SUPPORT A KIDS NON-PROFIT WRITING CENTER
As many of you know, I’m helping to found a new non-profit writing center for kids in Philadelphia. We’re just starting our fundraising efforts, but are already offering fun (and free!) writing workshops around the city in borrowed spaces like bookstores and community centers. This fall we’ll be working with local schools to set up continuing programs like newspapers and offering professional development opportunities for teachers. Once we can afford to open our permanent writing center, we’ll even be offering wacky class field trips that will help inspire kids to find a love of writing and develop their skills.
HERE’S HOW YOU CAN HELP: We’re currently in the running for a $10,000 prize on the ideablob website, and ALL WE NEED IS YOUR VOTE! Please click on the link and vote for our program between now and July 21.

6) Support Prostate Cancer Research
With the recent loss of Gary Papa, beloved ABC sportscaster, issues surrounding prostate cancer have been brought to the forefront and people in Philadelphia are wondering how they can help. A local triathlete, Jay Gantz, whose father is also terminally ill with prostate cancer has decided to raise funds and support for prostate cancer research by racing two Ironman triathlons in one month – Ironman Lake Placid and Ironman Louisville. Each race consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run, and will take anywhere from 11 to 16 hours to complete.
He is looking for supporters to sponsor him by donating $28.12, just ten cents for each mile raced, to his Athletes for a Cure fund. Athletes for a cure is the athletic fundraising and awareness arm of the Prostate Cancer Foundation. All proceeds from Athletes for a Cure go directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. http://www.tiny.cc/AFAC
Supporters of Jay can track his progress live, at http://ironman.com/events/ironman/lakeplacid?show=tracker
