A rare Tuesday edition. Wrapping up a rehab project which has been taking up lots of time. I could use a good handyman. Anyone have one that works near center city or north Philly?
So what is on my mind......The weather in July has been so much better than June....
My shore house hosted a 20 keg party July 4th. I was a bit disappointed since there were 30 kegs available to be drank.
Made it to two Phillies games last week. Now I am 3-5 on the season after seeing the Phils score 22 runs on Monday and then my friend Deb hooked me up with front row tickets next to the Phils dugout on Friday night.
Made it to the Chelsea in AC for the first time. Seems like they have a good scene going on there. http://www.thechelsea-ac.com/fifthfloor.php
Also caught a show at the World Cafe Live. If someone is looking to see some free live music, the upstairs has performances every night by some good local bands. Would be great for a date if looking for things to do. The downstairs has shows as well many nights. http://www.worldcafelive.com/
Did you know the Mexican Post at 16th and Cherry does not have Comcast? Do not go there if you want to watch the Phillies.
And lastly, I saw this article. For those that rent, it could be very important to you if your landlord is going in to foreclosure:: Tenants in Foreclosed Properties Will Benefit from New Federal Law http://realtytimes.com/rtpages/20090707_tenants.htm
As always, please talk to me if you are thinking of buying or selling a home. I have a great network of Realtors in the tri-state area that I can recommend if I can not work with you directly. - Mark
