Title: 29 Items (7-1-09) sponsored by ART MUSEUM FRIDAYS

Happy 4th.  If down the shore, please feel free to come celebrate in Avalon, as my shore house is hosting a party for some friends (#1).

Saw this video and thought I would share.  Despite my 1-5 home record attending Phillies games this year and the team’s awful recent performances, it made me smile.

Did you know Bar Noir is no longer?  It is true. The Franklin Mortgage & Investment Co is the new bar at the spot.  They updated the inside nicely.  If you are looking for a place with a unique drink menu, this is your place.  They do not serve food and there are no TVs.  I do not believe they have outdoor seating yet.

Enjoy your holiday.  Let’s hope for similar weather to this past weekend. - Mark

Fostering kittens provides a temporary and often life-saving home until the kittens are old enough to be spayed. Kittens cannot be spayed until they weigh about three pounds (8-10 weeks old), and shelters simply do not have the space to hold kittens until they can be fixed. In addition, being in a shelter during this time, many kittens will die due to preventable and curable diseases. All fosters have to do is love, socialize, feed, and keep the cats warm and happy for four to six weeks. The kittens are then taken to the clinic free of charge to be spayed and find homes. Rescue groups, such as PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society), pay for all medical care, shots, and spaying/neutering.   http://www.phillypaws.org/
