I missed last week. Was in Utah with PhillyTrips and we had a foot of snow so things go a little hectic for me. Today, I am off to Vermont with PhillyTrips – we have over 40 people heading up for the weekend.
Did not get to comment on the Brian Dawkins situation. The contract he was given by Denver was too much for the Eagles to match. Overall, the Eagles have made good decisions when it comes to resigning free agents, so I think we have to give the organization the benefit at this point. Certainly, we will miss BD and possibly we might see his number retired by the Eagles when he retires. Talking about sports, I arranged for my Phillies opening day tickets thanks to a friend who treats me better than I deserve.
This weekend is St. Patty’s day celebrations, with McFaddens McPattyfest ,Erin Express, Get Lucky, and the parade.
I was able to enjoy beer week while in town. Wednesday night I went to the Sam Adams dinner at Fieldhouse. The founder of Sam Adams spoke a few times throughout the meal which I enjoyed. We also got to sample a bunch of different Sam Adams flavors, including the highest alcohol content beer in the world – it did not even taste like a beer. I can see Beer Week growing to a great annual event in Philly.

I hope this is not a trend as it will be so annoying to have people chatting on planes the entire time.
