Title: 21 Items (2-13-09) sponsored by LADIES NIGHT AT PUBLIC HOUSE (Sat, Feb 14th)

Thank you to those people that have recently helped my friends with the hostess/waitress and cell phone requests.  Certainly appreciated.

Steamboat, CO worked out really well.  We had 30+ people go on the trip which included some nice weather, good people, and 15 inches of fresh snow to play in.  Park City and Killington still available: www.PhillyTrips.com

For those who want to do some traveling with the Phillies this year, trips are posted to Miami, Toronto, NYC, and Chicago: http://www.philsfever.com/

Did anyone notice the Irish Pub in town recently raised their Miller Lite drafts to $3?  And their Wednesday night wing night special went to $5 (from $4).  I thought prices are supposed to be falling in this economy.

Went to my first ballet this week. I think my first ballet since the Nutcracker in grade school.  Although it is certainly not something I would do on a regular basis, it was not as bad as I originally had thought: http://www.paballet.org

Lastly, for those thinking of buying a home, the stimulus plan incentives and the low interest rates might interest you:  The bill increases the size of an existing temporary and refundable first-time home buyer credit to $8,000, up from $7,500. It also removes the requirement under current law that the credit be paid back if the buyer stays in the home for at least three years. And it would extend the credit's expiration date to Dec. 1, 2009, from July 1. Those eligible for this credit must have purchased a home after Jan. 1, 2009, and before Dec. 1, 2009. The full credit is available to those making $75,000 or less ($150,000 for joint filers). - Mark
