Title: 41 Items (9-19-08) sponsored by The 14th Annual Sippin By The River

Summer definitely seems over, as the calendar is filling up with many good options - 41 this week.  Every week, there seems to be at least one open bar...

For those thinking of buying a house, check out the Federal Tax credit info (#32).  And for anyone that wants to buy a mansion, Alan Iverson is selling his home: http://homes.longandfoster.com/Real-Estate/PropertyDetails.aspx?MlsNumber=5390804&MlsCompanyId=16&FromParnter=true

Phillies are making the non-believers believers.  Let's hope it continues.  Eagles had a tough loss on Monday.  If Donovan does not fumble the hand off with eight minutes to go in the game while we were driving in Dallas territory, would we have still lost that game?  The defense did look weak and it seems Dawkins was a step slow all night.

Please note the sponsor this week.  Save the 28th and plan to attend the Sippin event.  It is one of the best Sunday events we have in the city all year.

As always, if you are thinking of buying or selling a home, please talk to me as I am a licensed Realtor and would like to assist you. - Mark

With close to 4,000 people attending last year’s event, proceeds from Sippin’ by the River, which topped more than $85,000 last year, benefit research, education, and support programs for people suffering from Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis – chronic digestive disorders of the small and large intestines collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It's the lipstick,” as inspiration for a promotion. The Flyers are encouraging hockey players or hockey moms themselves to submit a “hockey mom poster” to the team as they seek to name the ultimate hockey mom in the Philadelphia area. The posters, which are to show a hockey mom’s pride and her loyalty and dedication to the sport, are to be submitted via the team's website, philadelphiaflyers.com, by October 1. The team will award all hockey moms entered into the contest with free lipstick and four tickets to a Philadelphia Phantoms game. A group of selected finalists will appear with their posters at the Flyers’ home opener on October 11. At the game, fans and a panel of judges will vote on the ultimate hockey mom. The winning hockey mom will be able to bring her child’s team to a future Flyers game, and she will receive numerous prizes including a $500 salon gift certificate, personalized Flyers jersey, $500 gas card, and more.

In order to provide more full-service capabilities, I started FRONTIER2 and have brought on a number of full-time employees. Things are moving quickly - we just moved into our new office here in the Great Valley Corporate Center, we landed a very interesting engagement after the client compared us to three other (bigger) firms, and we are actively recruiting talent for our growing pipeline.
