Title: 16 Items (8-15-08) sponsored by American Male Salons

Hard to believe we are already half way through August....

A very serious inquiry:  I have some investment opportunities and I need some short term capital (less than 30 days).  If anyone has cash available and is looking for a quick pay day, please email me.

My gathering in Avalon went well on Saturday (4 kegs). For those that can be in Avalon on Saturday the 23rd, I recommend coming down, as there will be a big bay party starting at 1PM.  There will be lots of beer, band, and DJ.  If you can make it, plan to bring a float and hang out in the bay for the day.

This past week, I continued to see more music.  Radiohead was Tuesday and George Thorogood was Thursday - unfortunately I missed Neil Diamond.  In between, was a great night in Rittenhouse Park.  Philadelphia Weekly is sponsoring the concert in the park summer series.  It is a great night to hang in the park. You can bring alcohol and food.  This past event was very crowded  http://www.philadelphiaweekly.com/concerts

A quick public safety message.  I read about an assault in Northern Liberties this week.  I figured it would be a good idea for all us to revoew the suggested safety procedures: http://www.ppdonline.org/prev/prev_personal.php
