Title: 18 Items (8-1-08) sponsored by American Male Salons

My first newsletter in weeks - the longest break I have taken since I started sending this out.  Just have been real busy with work and taking some personal time on weekends.
Sorry to the people that have sent me things to include which I did not get out.

Notice the amount of music coming up this week (#16).  This is on top of some great music that has been in town recently (The Eagles, Police, Widespread Panic, Snoop Dog).

For those still thinking about some Eagles travel this season, Chicago is close to being closed out with over 400 people already signed up.  San Francisco has 300 people and then there are some good one day bus trips.  http://www.SportsAndTrips.com/ref.asp?id=359 for all the details.  And talking about Philly sports, time to say goodbye to the Spectrum: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=3488161

And let me close with some Philly news.  According to the 2007 censes, we have 1,449,634 people living in Philadelphia.  We ranked #5 in the country for walkability: http://www.walkscore.com/rankings/Philadelphia.  And ladies, please take cabs: http://www.philly.com/philly/news/breaking/24449464.html

At American Male, we know MEN. We are more than a barber shop. We are the men's grooming experience! American Male salons are in a class by themselves - offering TV's, complimentary beverages and a place you can call your own with style and confidence - an event you'll love and never forget

Coast-to-Coast Sweet Spots
Philadelphia landed at No. 4, with homes appreciating by 9.1% in the last two years and vacancy rates staying low at 1.9%. This university town, which plays host to the University of Pennsylvania, certainly has its charm. A city on the rise with a tempting cost of living, Philly is a great place to buy a new home.
